Western Massachusetts Hospital

Project information

A DCAMM project in Westfield, MA, the 93,000 sq ft, 102-bed, chronic-care facility has been renovated/upgraded to meet with modern standards. Without central ventilation or temperature control systems since construction in 1930, multiple rooftop air-handling units were added. Replacement of the full roof system, work relating to associated pads and structural perforations, a study of swing space alternatives, design consultancy, and a certifiable building study are included within the scope. This was a phased project.
