Project information

An interesting project that restored a mothballed school to service for the Providence Public School District. Formerly known as Windmill Elementary, the 124k sq ft school in question was in service from construction in 1932 through 2011. It’s functionality now intersects with community need, and is underwent significant upgrades to meet code, energy-conservation, and contemporary needs-of-use. A design-build model was used to return the four stories of history—three above-grade—back into the school system’s present.
