The existing Vocational (VOC) Building is a two-story modular facility built in the 1990's. The building is about 33,800 sq ft with a steel-framed superstructure. Due to an occupancy change, the building is required to be re-classified as Risk Category III rather than the original classification of Risk Category II. This change in classification requires a detailed structural code review and analysis and recommendations for short term solutions. Additionally, there are a number of changes required as a result of repurposing the use of space.
