Project information

Lacking many programmatic elements intrinsic to the student population's educational needs, the William E. Carter School's 13,500 sq ft of space dating from 1971 is being replaced. A retaining wall separating the site from adjacent MBTA and Amtrak rail lines present foundation clearance requirements, and a pool for student therapy is necessary. This MSBA project will be approximately 3x the current school’s size and have many features for a unique student body
