Project information

Initially renovated into condos in 2013, the former Carr Schoolhouse is a 33,000 sq ft, turn-of-the-century brick building perched on a hill in east Somerville. B+AC was engaged to assess the roof timber condition and recommend a corrective design. The project expanded to include CA and the analysis of a proposed residential expansion. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.
